A need a change
A need for revolt
We have so been immersed in this way
‘In our ways’
That we have decided to go along
Go along
Go along with the pain
Go along with the suffering
Go along with the oppression
How do I cause them to open a paper and read
Read articles about the injustice
And not one about the lavish life of other people
How do I inspire change
How do I cause the seed of bitterness to grow
Not to grow for destruction
But to grow for change
For a better tomorrow
For a better Nigeria
A better Nigeria
For my children
For the future of my children
For the future of my children’s children
For the future of those that will come after us
Those that will live after us
A better Nigeria
A vision so clear
So clear…but fading away
