Akinyemi Akisanmi (YEMI RUSH) born in Lagos Nigeria on the 20th of September. He was raised in Lagos, realized his love for music at a tender age when he was a member of the church choir. YEMI RUSH moved to England for Media Studies at the University of East London.
YEMI RUSH is a singer, producer and songwriter signed to UNG MUSIC UK. He mixes Afro-beat with an urban sound, following the release of his single / video “Stay With me” which became a viral success. YEMI RUSH is back with a new single “SEXY LADY” featuring the ever prolific Nigerian Rapper Reminisce.
“SEXY LADY” is a re-arranged version of his previously released single “ELLE”, which takes that love road route to greatness. “SEXY LADY” is an excellent tune which takes things up several notches with its infectious melody, a commanding vocal performance, excellent and catchy wordplay.
