Its very easy to be a designer….most people just take a magazine,
copy-paste the design using another material(s) or twisting some
details…it is not…however easy to sit with a sketch pad for hours at
most and imagine vividly a particular design on a person…let alone
drawing it to exact precision….then adding colour to the sketch to top
it all. That’s why, this write up is very special and dear to me. She
doesn’t sew…she just makes beautiful designs using pen, paper and
colour. She knows the exact material that would go with design…she knows
the exact colour also.
She is Aimanoshi Dania and the name of her collection is “Manoshiaa Lipz
Production”. Its very rare to find someone of her talent and I am very pleased to
know that I might be one of the first people to have come across her. She’s been
sketching since she was two years old…when I was that age….I was watching
cartoons and playing with sand. To further show her passion for sketching and
designs she went a step further by studying industrial design and photography
and graphics.
The name of her collection is quite strange people would say…but its just
a mixture of her name and kisses…why that? Why this name? She named her
collection this because anytime people saw her designs they were always full
of smiles and compliments some going as far as kissing the pads.
She paints, she draws, she into graphics…..she could see a flower or trees and
that could be an inspiration for a dress. She could be in traffic and make a
dress by imagining every object around her as part or parts of the dress. She’s
always with a pen and paper…so no moment goes by without her sketching.
Yes….even in church….when praying.
She loves designing for plus size women….she’s tired of seeing them wearing
what doesn’t suit them…she would love to sketch for them…for their exact
shape and body. She also wants to design for the nail shaped people (that is
broad shoulders, no hips) to her ‘ they are all not supposed to wear something
really fitted they could wear something short and flare at the bottom to take
peoples eyes away from their broad chest and no hips’….all these and more she
would love to do.
She is also talented, she sings, she writes songs, she’s into portrait
paintings, she is also a stylist (advices some people on how to combine their
dresses to their hair styles and accessories ).
