Shot into the sky
I fell,
Like rain in may.
Free falling I pulled a star
I held her close,
She burnt me close
I see the ground rushing to my face
I claw for the sky
My star has deserted me.
Wings I have not,
A rocket I be not.
Hope, I bear none.
Then I say a word,
A silent call
A broken plea.
He hears me, I know a fact.
My eyes close now,
Shutting the windows to my soul.
I leave me be to His will.
And then,
I feel it…
A tear, A drop..
Rain leaks from the skies.
Impossible to believe,
I do grab a drop
A drop of rain I ride on
He has given me hope..
Unbelievable trust,
I lay ma feet.
Falling from the sky.
A dead man I was.
Gone with the wind,
Ready to be harvested.
But, He saved me.
With drops of rain…
Impossible faith from an impossible man.
Finally,
Seeking my salvation,
I fell with the rain in may.
