Designs speaks different languages to different people and for this particular
collection…I see elegance and comfort….you would always know that your clothes

Her name is Olajumoke Usman. She started professionally in 2010. When asked
what brought about the name, her response was “I love the colour red and
whilst going through an application to get a befitting name that has red
and also interprets fashion, I came across this German word “reden” which
means “talk about” and then it hit me- that was all I needed, cause I know
my designs would be unique and most definitely be talked about.”
“My love and passion for fashion inspired me. I love clothes…..A LOT! All
sorts, from dresses ,tops ,skirts, overalls, different shapes and cuts,
anything fashion speaks to me. I also noticed that I almost always get
disappointed when I give tailors my fabrics to sew, so I developed a CAN DO
attitude and decided to get it done myself.”
Like an article she once read said “we are all copy cats but the only way
you can make a design yours is adding a twist to an old one.” Basically,
her inspiration comes from old designs, but she makes hers distinguishable
by adding her personal touch of style which is elegance and comfort.
Her brand of clothe making ranges are for both sexes, but her major
clients ranges between the ages of 16 – 60. She doesn’t just sew
clothes, she designs, she’s creative, she’s inspired and most
importantly, if you can dream it, she can make it. She creates a work of
art by fusing western and our own local designs together and her products
are nothing short of a masterpiece.
